DOMINO’s DELIVERS FAST PACED NIGHT AT SOUTH BOSTON JULY 26TH

(South Boston,VA ---July 26, 2003)  Woody Howard (#30 Chesapeake, VA) took his second checkered flag of the season by holding off Scott Worley (#88 Long Island, VA..not NY) and point contender Jimmy Mullins (#75 Collinsville, VA).  Howard started fourth behind point leader and RACERAP.com pole winner Philip Morris (#01 Ruckersville, VA) before making a mid-race charge to the front.  In the caution free headliner for Domino's Night presented by Berryman at Big Daddy's South Boston Speedway, Howard claimed victory for the NASCAR Coors Light Late Model 150 lap feature, by working lap traffic to pass Morris and Mullins.  Worley used the high line to make passes on the outside enroute to his best finish of the season, while Morris finished fourth.  Morris maintained the series points lead heading into next week's USAR Hooter's Pro Cup 250, where the Coors Light Late Models will do battle in twin 75 lap events.

Jonathan Cash #07 continued to lead the points for the Sheetz Limited Sportsman division after Jonathan Bailey #89 delivered up a victory for his Bailey’s Team.  Bailey took the lead from pole winner Adam Barker #10 on the first lap, but was locked in a tight battle for the win with Cash.  In a scramble to the finish, Wayne Roach #71 picked up two positions on the outside to finish fourth just behind Chad Mason #18, who finished third.

Tommy Wooldridge #20 captured the win in the GRAND Home Furnishings Pure Stock event over Billy Goble #14.  Scott Phillips #1 and Lee Anderson #01 put on a great show battling for position to the finish. Goble drove the #14 instead of his #18, due to mechanical problems.
