Advance tickets for season-ending SoBo 300 are on sale through Friday for a mere $10
It's simply amazing what you can get for $10.
South Boston Speedway will put the finishing touches on the 2006 racing season Saturday, Oct. 28, with the running of the SoBo 300. And, fans who purchase their tickets in advance can see all of the racing action for a mere $10.
Advance tickets for the SoBo 300 are on sale at the South Boston Speedway ticket office through 5 p.m. Friday. Adult tickets are priced at $10 till 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. The ticket price will be $15 for adults on race day.
In addition to seeing the 300-lap SoBo 300 on Saturday, fans will also get to take in qualifying races earlier in the afternoon, along with a last chance race before the green flag falls for the SoBo 300 at 5 p.m.
And all of that can be seen for $10, incredible!
The SoBo 300 will be a two-day event, slated Oct. 27-28, at American's Hometown Track. Total monies posted for the event is $57,300. The winner of the event will pocket $15,000.
On Friday, Oct. 27, registration for the SoBo 300 will begin at 7 a.m. A mandatory meeting for drivers and crew chiefs will be held at noon that day and practice will take place from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Qualifying time trials for the SoBo 300 will get the green flag at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27. The top 15 performers during qualifying will earn spots in the 36-car field for the SoBo 300.
On Saturday, Oct. 28, a mandatory meeting for drivers and crew chiefs is slated for 11 a.m. and grandstand gates will open at noon. Qualifying races are slated to begin at 1 p.m. and will be followed by the last chance race at 3 p.m.
