9.22.07 Three Division Titles Up For Grabs Saturday At South Boston Speedway SOUTH BOSTON, VA. - .For three division points leaders, it has come down to one final night of racing at South Boston Speedway. That night comes Saturday night, September 22, when three of the track's four division championships will be decided in the Pabst Blue Ribbon 150 racing program. Saturday night's Pabst Blue Ribbon 150 racing program, the final points event of the season at South Boston Speedway, will get underway at 7 p.m. and will feature five races. Highlighting Saturday night's action is a 150-lap race for the Barkhouser Late Model Stock Car Division. Races for the Limited Sportsman Division, the Budweiser Pure Stock Division, the Southern Saturday's Pabst Blue Ribbon 150 race-day schedule calls for registration to start and pit gates to open at 1 p.m. Practice will start at 2:15 p.m. and will continue until 3:45 p.m. Grandstand gates will open and ticket sales will begin at 5 p.m. Qualifying time trials will start at 5:15 p.m. and the first race of the night will get the green flag at 7 p.m. South Boston Speedway's Early Bird Special will be in effect with adult general admission tickets being $8 until 6:30 p.m. and $10 after that. Youths ages 10-15 will be admitted for $5 and kids ages nine and under will b admitted free with a paid adult. The championship in the Southern Vintage Modified Division will also be decided Saturday night. That division championship battle is a close one with Randy Smith of Bassett, Va. bringing in an eight-point lead over Rodney Cook of Reidsville, N.C. and a 10-point lead over Donnie Lacks of Lynchburg, Va. into this weekend's event. South Boston, Va. resident Bruce Anderson finished third in last week's Limited Sportsman Division race and clinched the division champion ship, giving him his second Limited Sportsman Division title in a row. Anderson, a 12-time winner, will bring an insurmountable 64-point lead over second-place driver Danny Willis Jr. of Cluster Springs, Va. into Saturday night's Pabst Blue Ribbon 150 racing program.
