A 150-lap race for the Barkhouser Late Model Stock Car Division will be the day's featured race. Twin races for the Limited Sportsman Division and a race for the Budweiser Pure Stock Division will also be included on the program. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for youths ages 7-12. Kids ages 6 and under will be admitted free. Youths must be accompanied by a paid adult in order to receive the discounted admission price. Practice and qualifying for all three divisions was completed before the thunderstorms arrived, locking in the starting order for Sunday afternoon's event. Track NASCAR officials noted, however, that additional entries for any of the three divisions will be added to the rear of the field. Justin Johnson of Durham, N.C. won the pole position for the 150-lap race for the Barkhouser Late Model Stock Car Division with Jonathan Cash of Oxford, N.C. taking the outside pole. Deac McCaskill of Raleigh, N.C. and Dude Gibbs of Seaford, Va. will occupy the second row. Lee Pulliam of Semora, N.C. won the pole for the start of the first of the two Limited Sportsman Division races. Two-time defending division champion, Bruce Anderson of South Boston, Va. will be on the outside of the front row for the start of the first race. Media Contacts: |
