Rain Washes Out SBS Racing Action

South Boston, VA - Persistent late afternoon and early-evening rain coupled with weather forecasts calling for continuing rain through the evening forced South Boston Speedway officials to cancel Friday night’s Dr. and Mrs. Maresca of St. Lawrence Radiology Presents Thunder Road Harley Davidson NASCAR Whelen Late Model 200 racing program.

Friday night’s Dr. and Mrs. Maresca of St. Lawrence Radiology Presents Thunder Road Harley Davidson NASCAR Whelen Late Model 200 racing program has been rescheduled for Saturday night, August 29, and will feature the same lineup of races - a 200-lap race for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Model Stock Car Division drivers and teams, a 100-lap Limited Sportsman Division race and a 50-lap race for the Budweiser Pure Stock Division competitors.
