Fans Can Vote For South Boston Speedway’s Most Popular Driver Online

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. (December 3, 2018) – The race is on to determine South Boston Speedway’s overall Most Popular Driver and the outcome is totally in the hands of the fans.

The online vote for the track’s overall Most Popular Driver is open and fans can vote by visiting this page between now and 12 noon on December 17.

To be included on the ballot, a driver must have competed in 75 percent of races run in 2018. Only eligible drivers are listed.

“We did the online vote for the first time last year and it was such a big hit we had to do it again,” said South Boston Speedway General Manager Cathy Rice. “It’s a way for everyone to get involved and show support for their favorite driver.”

The online ballot shows a real-time vote count to allow fans the opportunity to keep an eye on vote totals.

The 2019 South Boston Speedway season opens on March 16 with an afternoon race featuring twin 100-lap races for the Late Models, a 50-lap Limited Sportsman race, a 30-lap Pure Stock race and a 15-lap Hornets race.
