CAMPING AT
SOUTH BOSTON SPEEDWAY
June 23-July 3, 2022
For the time period of June 23-July 3, 2022, South Boston Speedway has partnered with the Halifax County Fairgrounds to open the adjoining property as a campground. This is for the June 25 SRX and July 2 Thunder Road Harley-Davidson 200 presented by Grand Atlantic Ocean Resort events only.

For all other events, South Boston Speedway permits non-hookup camping free of charge in the open fields along the backstretch side of the facility.

To rent a camping space during this time period, please contact the speedway at (434) 572-4947.

FULL HOOKUP CAMPING IS SOLD OUT FOR JULY1-3, 2022.
Please note that, in order to make room for needed event day car parking, free camping in the speedway's parking lots will not be permitted for these events.

Here's some important information as we get ready to welcome our campers to #SOBOSpeedway this weekend!
-All camping is by permit/fee. There is no camping in the parking fields for this event. All camping is at the adjoining Halifax County Fairgrounds.
-If you need to reserve camping, please call (434) 572-4947. Full hookup camping is sold out.
-When you arrive on property, please stop by the speedway or call (434) 572-4947 to get your welcome packet/camping pass.
-If you arrive outside of office hours, please see the spot assignments on the sign at the fairgrounds gate for full hookup. There are no spot assignments for non-hookup.
