Franklin’s Garage Fast Lap of the Race - $400

The Fastest Lap of the Race Award will go to the driver who turned the fastest single lap during the 200-lap feature race.

Sparks Oil/Sunoco Hard Charger - $500
-
Given to the driver who gains the most positions from their initial feature starting position. If there is a tie for positions gained, the highest-finishing driver will be awarded the Hard Charger.

Any drivers wishing to start in the rear of the field will need to declare to South Boston Speedway officials immediately following qualifying.

If multiple drivers wish to start at the rear of the field, highest-qualifying position will be given priority to start furthest back, and so forth.

EVENT RULES - QUICK NOTES

Ten (10) total new tires

Four (4) for practice (and emergency change tires)

Four (4) for the race (must be mounted for qualifying)

Mandatory pre-race technical inspection

Friday, June 26th from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm

Saturday, June 27th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
- Every competitor must complete pre-tech before Saturday practice​​

Qualifying will take place via Group Qualifying.

Groups are determined by overall practice speeds, from slowest to fastest

3 cars per group

End of Stage 1 and end of Stage 3 WILL NOT feature a caution period.
​

The end of Stage 2 WILL feature a caution period, in which there will be a 15-minute halfway break.
-
These caution laps do not count
-
Competitors will stop in a single-file line on the frontstretch pit road
-
Any unapproved adjustments will result in a tail of the field penalty
-
Two (2) ‘halfway break tires’ may ONLY be installed during this caution
-
Changing any other tire will result in a two-lap penalty
-
Fuel may ONLY be added during the halfway break

Approved Adjustments

Packers in or out.

Spring rubbers in or out.

Track bar adjustments.

Cross weight adjustments.

Tires cannot be removed without a Track Official present.

Tires may be moved to different positions on the car if a Track Official is present.

TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

South Boston Speedway Hitachi Energy Late Model Stock Car Track Championship points will be awarded during this event. However, points will only be awarded to drivers who are currently 2026 Late Model Stock Car points holders, designated by having attempted at least one (1) event this season. The highest finishing Speedway points holder will receive 30 championship points, the second-highest finishing points holder 29 points, and so forth, per the table above.

If a current Speedway points holder wins the event outright, one (1) extra Championship point will be awarded.

If a current Speedway points holder wins the event outright from the last place starting position, one (1) additional Championship point will be awarded, for a total of two (2) total extra points.

NASCAR National points will be awarded as normal for this event.
