EVENT RULES - QUICK NOTES

Tires
-
Ten (10) total new tires
-
Four (4) for practice - may be used as emergency change tires during the race
-
Four (4) for the race - must be on the car during qualifying.
-
Option for two (2) stage break tires - may be used at either stage break.

Tires will be sold/mounted beginning Friday, November 13th.
-
All tires will be scanned.
-
All tires must be kept in your pit stall.
-
Tires may be scuffed in on Friday or Saturday.

Pre-Tech
-
Pre-tech availability:
-
Friday, November 13th - 1:00pm to 4:30pm
-
Saturday, November 14th - 8:30am to 10:30am
-
-
All cars will need to go through pre-tech before being allowed on the track for practice Saturday November 14th.
-
Pre-tech tire pressures will be 20psi left side / 30psi right side.
-
Any minor discrepancies that cannot be fixed at the track will be issued a weight penalty on a case-by-case basis.

Practice
-
Maximum 15 cars on track at a time, race control and stop-and-go to monitor.

Qualifying
-
Single Car Qualifying
-
Order determined by overall practice speeds, slowest to fastest.
-
2 timed laps: Green Flag, White Flag, Checkered Flag.
-
All cars will report to the tech shed after qualifying.

Cautions
-
Cars will take the choose cone with 1 lap to go ahead of restarts.
-
Caution laps count - except during stage breaks
-
-
Stage 1 (at or around lap 105)
-
Stage 1 will feature a red flag period with a 10-minute break.
-
All cars will follow the pace car down pit road.
-
Cars choosing not to pit will stay in line behind the pace car.
-
Drivers may get out, but no work is to be done.
-
Any team caught working will receive a 1 lap penalty.
-

Cars choosing to pit will go to their pit stall for approved adjustments.
-
Approved adjustments can be made.
-
Unapproved adjustments will result in a tail of the field penalty.
-
Two (2) stage break tires may be installed at this stop.
-
Changing any other tire without being an approved emergency by a Track Official will result in a 3 lap penalty.

Cars choosing to pit will line back up in the order they were running behind the cars on their respective lap that chose not to pit.

Fuel should be taken during stage breaks only.

Tires may only be removed if an Official is present.
-
Tires may be moved to different positions on the car if an Official is present.

Packers in or out.

Spring rubbers in or out.

Track bar adjustments.

Cross weight adjustments.
-
No lead may be added, moved, or removed at any stage break.
-
Any replaced damaged/broken parts must be approved by the Competition Director.
