To schedule a track rental, please contact the speedway office at (434) 572-4947 (tel:+14345724947) Practice must be scheduled no later than 24 hours in advance, but we recommend calling well in advance to ensure nothing else is taking place as sometimes the track is not available. Pricing: • Hitachi Energy Late Model Stock Car / Budweiser Limited Sportsman - $150 (full day) • Southside Disposal Pure Stock / Dollar General Hornets - $50 (full day) • Other divisions not listed, please contact the office for pricing. Additional Information: • Track rental is available most weeks Monday-Friday (Monday-Thursday on event weeks) from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. • All persons entering the infield must sign all required waivers. • Payment can be made via credit card / debit card / cash / check. NASCAR Local Racing Series powered by O'Reilly Auto Parts Divisions (Late Model Stock, Limited Sportsman, Pure Stock, Hornets): • With NASCAR License - $30 • Without NASCAR License - $55 • Children 12 & Under - $30 Save when using Pit Pay: Teams that use the Pit Pay App (https://www.pitpay.com/)in 2026 can purchase pit passes for $25 plus processing fees (approx. $27 total). This savings is only valid when using the app. You can Download Pit Pay (pitpay.com)in the Apple or Google app stores. NOTE: Applicable waivers must be signed for all persons entering the infield.

In 2026, South Boston Speedway will continue to use the Pit Pay mobile pit pass app for its NASCAR Local Racing Series divisions. Individuals will be able to purchase pit passes online in advance, and sign all needed waivers in advance of event day. Using the app saves money versus buying at the gate on race days. Minor releases and all other applicable waivers are able to be completed through Pit Pay. A completed minor release waiver is required for all those ages 19 and under that are entering the infield. Minor release must have both parents' signatures in order to be valid. We accept the following payment methods at all Ticketing/Merchandise/Concessions locations: • Cash • Debit Card • Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) • Checks are accepted for COMPETITORS ONLY for registration and fuel. For registration, an open check can ONLY be left if it has a list of all approved team members for that event with it. The speedway will not refund money for individuals who are paid for but do not attend an event. We do not accept "credit card on file" situations for payment methods for competitors. If you would like to pay for team members at registration, your card will be charged at the time when it is present or you can use Pit Pay to pay and sign needed waivers.
