SOUTH BOSTON, VA (October 14, 2026) – Reigning South Boston Speedway zMAX CARS Tour Pro Late Model Tour race winner Keelan Harvick will be looking for a repeat performance in the AutosByNelson.com Championship Night event on Saturday, October 17 at South Boston Speedway – but in a different car.

Harvick, the son of 2014 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kevin Harvick, will compete in the 125-lap CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour race that will comprise half of Saturday’s doubleheader. It will be his first time competing in a Late Model Stock car at South Boston Speedway.

The Harvicks have a special treat in store for 20 lucky fans attending the event. All fans entering the gate at Saturday’s AutosByNelson.com Championship Night event will have a chance to win a pace car ride with either Kevin Harvick or Keelan Harvick.

Once inside the gates, information on how to enter will be front and center for fans on signage at in the midway, at the guest services center and souvenir store, ticket booths, and concessions stands. Fans will be able to enter one time per phone number.

After CARS Tour qualifying is over, 10 winners will be chosen randomly and contacted via text message at the number provided in the entry form and announced over the speedway’s public address system. Each winner may bring one guest for the pace car ride.

Winners will meet at the flag stand immediately after the on-track autograph session, verify they have won, and be escorted to the frontstretch where they will get their ride.

“It’s really awesome because not everybody is able to drive on South Boston Speedway,” Keelan said of the pace cars rides. “It’s going to be fun. I’m going to open it up a little bit.”

Keelan Harvick has made four starts in the CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour this season. He is coming in off of a fourth-place finish in the race at Newport, Tennessee on October 2. It was his first Top-5 finish in his four starts. He also has a pair of Top-10 finishes.

“I’m going to all of the tracks that I raced the Pro Late Model,” he explained during a break in a test session at South Boston Speedway earlier this week.

“It’s definitely helpful that I have been here. It’s a lot to adapt to over a Late Model Stock Car. It should be fun.”

The younger Harvick topped a stacked field in last year’s CARS Pro Late Model Tour race at South Boston Speedway. It was a great experience for the young racer to add his name to the list of legendary drivers that have won at South Boston Speedway.

“It was really awesome because my grandfather, John Linville, has won here,” he pointed out. “It’s real cool to win here as well.”

The Kaden & Caden Show

Kaden Honeycutt and Caden Kvapil will command a lot of attention in the zMAX CARS Tour AutosByNelson.com Championship Night event on Saturday, October 17 at South Boston Speedway.

Honeycutt, who is chasing a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship, will be competing in both the 100-lap zMAX CARS Pro Late Model Tour race and the 125-lap zMAX CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour race.

Honeycutt is seeking his fourth victory in a row at South Boston Speedway and is looking to sweep the CARS Tour’s final event of 2026. If he can pull off the sweep, it will mark his third time this season sweeping both races of a CARS Tour event.

The Texas native will compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on Friday at Phoenix, Arizona and fly back to South Boston to drive the No. 54 JC Motorsports entry in the Pro Late Model race and the No. 17 Tom Usry Racing entry in the Late Model Stock Car race on Saturday.

Driving the No. 88 for JR Motorsports, Kvapil has enjoyed a great first season in Late Model Stock Car competition. He is the first driver to win the CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour championship, win the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway and win the Virginia Late Model Triple Crown in one season.

Kvapil has consistently mentioned one wish – that he had won the Virginia Late Model Triple Crown opener at South Boston Speedway. The race at South Boston Speedway was the only Triple Crown race he did not win.

South Boston Speedway’s Best Set to Battle the CARS Tour’s Finest

South Boston Speedway fans will have plenty to cheer about in Saturday’s zMAX CARS Tour AutosByNelson.com Championship Night event.
