SOUTH BOSTON, VA (May 13, 2026) – South Boston Speedway, in partnership with Mincey’s Graphics, will honor America’s fallen heroes with a special observance.

Racing in Remembrance: Honoring our Heroes presented by Mincey’s Graphics on Saturday night, May 30 will give race fans the opportunity to honor the fallen heroes of family and friends by having their names placed on competitors’ cars at South Boston Speedway.

Fans may submit information about a fallen hero killed in the line of duty, a prisoner of war, or one who is missing in action and never returned home. A decal with the fallen hero’s name on it will be placed on each car competing in the Oak River Realty Race Night event on Saturday night, May 30 at South Boston Speedway.

Fans can submit names of fallen heroes at southbostonspeedway.com/remembrance.

Submissions will be accepted from Wednesday, May 13 until midnight on May 24.

“For us as a team at Mincey’s Graphics, having ties with our military in family, friends and clients, we want to never take for granted the lives of all of the brave men and women that dedicated their all with sacrificing their lives for this great godly country we are honored to live in,” said Mincey’s Graphics owner Chris Mincey. “To be free and able to do things such as grassroots racing, running a small-town business, and having employees that are great enough to call family, we don’t want to take one single day without remembering these individuals that served and gave the ultimate sacrifice. God bless our country, the ones at rest, and their loved ones.”

“We are extremely proud to partner with Mincey’s Graphics to hold this special observance,” said South Boston Speedway General Manager Brandon Brown. “The sacrifice by the brave fallen heroes of our military was the ultimate act of love for our country and our freedom. We should never forget nor take for granted the individuals that made the ultimate sacrifice to help secure our freedom. All of us at South Boston Speedway are proud to remember and honor these fallen heroes and we join our many race fans in that endeavor.”

In addition to the Racing in Remembrance: Honoring our Heroes presented by Mincey’s Graphics observance South Boston Speedway is offering free admission for military personnel and veterans for the Oak River Realty Race Night event on Saturday night, May 30.
