For the first time ever, winged 410 Sprint Cars invade South Boston Speedway. The Sentara Healthcare American Sprint Car Weekend will feature the Must See Racing Sprint Cars -- cars that carry nearly 900 horsepower!

-Adult weekend package - $25 ($30 on Friday at gate)

SINGLE DAY TICKETS

-Adult race day tickets - $15 in advance
$20 on race day

-Suite tickets - $40 (frontstretch suite)

For this event only -- out of an abundance of caution due to extreme high speeds of Sprint Cars --

lawn chair seating is closed.

Those with limited mobility wishing to sit in lawn chairs may use the designated area beside the main grandstands in Turn 4.

The bottom three rows of the main grandstands are also closed.

CAMPING AT SOUTH BOSTON SPEEDWAY

For this event, we offer free non-hookup camping in the grass area on the backstretch side of our facility. 

The Halifax County Fairgrounds has a limited number of hookup campsites on their property adjoining us that you can reserve by calling (434) 476-3300.

THERE'S PLENTY TO DO IN SOUTHSIDE VIRGINIA
Where to play. Where to stay.

Halifax County, Virginia, and the areas that surround it (known as Southside Virginia) have plenty to offer. From the right and left turns of VIRginia International Raceway to a historic plantation to one of the largest reservoirs/lakes in the Southeast United States, plan your trip now. And we'll be sure to share even more fun things to do as we get closer to June 25!

Halifax County, VA

Home to both South Boston Speedway and VIRginia International Raceway (VIR), Halifax County is rich in motorsports history. The historic county is also home to the Berry Hill Resort, a beautiful plantation that has been turned into a resort, and many other historic locations. Be sure to plan to check out all of the great shops and restaurants in the towns of Halifax and South Boston. 

Danville & Pittsylvania County, VA

Danville is the birthplace of Wendell Scott and is the closest larger city to South Boston Speedway (just about 40 minutes). You'll find plenty of local and chain restaurants and beautiful scenery to take in, as the city has undergone some major revitalization projects in recent years.

Clarksville & Mecklenburg County, VA

Home to Kerr Lake (also known as Buggs Island Lake) -- the largest reservoir in the Southeast -- Clarksville is a quiet and beautiful small town located just about 20 minutes from South Boston Speedway. This town is perfect to camp and/or plan a day full of fun on the lake.

Roxboro, NC

If you didn't know that South Boston Speedway is just a few minutes from the North Carolina state line, you do now. Located just about 30 minutes from South Boston Speedway, Roxboro is part of the Durham-Chapel Hill, NC Metro area and yet another historic small town with plenty to see.

SOUTH BOSTON, VA? HOW DO I GET THERE?

Did you think South Boston, VA was in the middle of nowhere? Well, you're wrong! This small town is located just a few miles from the North Carolina state line and just a short drive from numerous large metropolitan areas. 

South Boston is located along Highway 58, a major highway, and a short drive from Interstates 81, 85 and 95.
